  • Approximately 1 bunch or 1 kilo Kale
  • Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • Hot chili flakes (optional)

Wash the Kale with water and dry completely.

Remove the entire stem from the leaf. Then, tear the leaves into bite sized pieces and place on a tray.

Sprinkle olive oil onto the leaves and massage the leaves with your hands. Space the kale evenly on the tray and try not to overcrowd it.

Crush the salt and hot pepper (optional) together with a mortar and pestle. If you don't have one just make sure the hot pepper is finely crushed. Sprinkle these seasonings and the paprika over the kale.

Place the tray of kale in a preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 20-30 minutes or until it becomes nice and crispy.

  • Make sure to treat your kale’s curls to a full body massage of olive oil

  • Get anxious and remove your Kale from the oven too early because you may not reach the desired crisp consistency, which makes them so tasty.
